About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Talent Acquisition Professional to join our team at New River Electrical Corporation. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the requirements and qualifications for vacant positions.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Source and manage recruiting firms and agencies to support our hiring needs.
  • Analyze market data to maintain a current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries and candidate availability.
  • Develop and refine recruitment processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Post and manage open positions, source candidates through various channels, and screen resumes.
  • Conduct phone interviews, evaluate candidate qualifications, and coordinate in-person interviews.
  • Verify candidate credentials, check references, and manage the offer process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with VISTA Software, MS Planner, and/or Smartsheet is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) tools is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
  • High level of discretion and judgment in both interpersonal and business matters.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with others.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Travel and Physical Demands

Occasional limited travel for off-site meetings, events, or other business matters. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
