Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date budgets according to job details
  • Run reports from Business Central to provide insights into financial performance
  • Conduct delta analysis of AFEs to Actuals to POs to identify areas for improvement
  • Review and verify close out packages to ensure all necessary information is accounted for
  • Maintain process integrity throughout the job cycle, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Identify and close jobs for completed projects in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with peers and leadership to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing
  • Proactively identify and investigate irregularities within designated areas of responsibility
  • Develop and deliver training and cross-training programs to enhance knowledge and expertise within the team
  • Provide backup support to ensure proper coverage of responsibilities in the event of employee absence
  • Communicate with internal and external auditors as necessary to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards for security and confidentiality
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Four years of experience in accounting and/or finance, or related field
  • Project accounting experience preferred
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and proactively solve problems
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Working Conditions:
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment
  • No or extremely limited exposure to physical risk
  • Visual perception required to perform activities at close distances
  • Hearing sufficient to understand and communicate by telephone and in person
  • Arm-hand dexterity required to operate keyboards and small office equipment
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
