Position Overview:
The Youth Engagement Coordinator role is a part-time position focused on delivering essential programs and workshops to elementary and middle school students. This position requires flexibility, as your schedule will align with the academic calendar of the schools you serve, typically involving approximately three days of work each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate educational programming as directed by the Prevention Director.
- Support students in identifying suitable referrals and resources within both the educational and broader community.
- Collaborate with school staff to address student disclosures that may indicate potential risk-taking behaviors.
- Participate in training sessions on new curricula as assigned by the Prevention Director.
- Maintain regular attendance, barring any excused absences.
- Complete all required training sessions mandated by Compass Health, accreditors, and funding organizations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for candidates holding degrees in mental health or related fields.
