Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, English, or a related field is preferred, along with strong customer service skills.
Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality, sales, or relationship management within a non-profit setting; experience in healthcare is advantageous.
Position Overview
The Donor Relations Coordinator collaborates closely with the Foundation Leadership team to identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with donors.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the Manager in the identification, cultivation, and stewardship of donors.
- Assisting donors with the Grateful Patient program throughout the continuum of care at Jupiter Medical Center.
- Creating presentations and representing the Foundation to staff regarding the Grateful Patient Program and the significance of philanthropy.
- Gaining comprehensive knowledge of hospital services and amenities.
- Conducting tours and preparing informational packets for prospective and current donors.
- Providing administrative support to team members.
- Demonstrating proficiency in writing, editing, and producing professional correspondence, ensuring error-free communication.
- Exhibiting the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while prioritizing effectively.
- Preparing presentation materials as required by team professionals.
- Maintaining a polished demeanor for interactions with high-profile donors and prospects.
- Demonstrating proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and conducting internet research.
- Ensuring accurate and consistent data entry into the database.
- Managing calendars for Administration Team professionals, including scheduling appointments and organizing meetings.
- Exhibiting excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and superior organizational abilities.
- Preparing monthly expense reports for Administration Team professionals.
- Demonstrating the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities while meeting tight deadlines.
- Maintaining a detail-oriented focus and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Assisting with special projects as requested.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
