Job Summary:

As a Park Ranger with Government Jobs, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of visitors to our regional parks system. Under general supervision, you will perform a variety of duties related to law enforcement, visitor services, interpretive programs, resource and wildlife protection, safety enforcement, pollution control, public relations, and fee collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce laws and regulations related to park use and conservation
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors and respond to their needs in a professional and courteous manner
  • Develop and implement interpretive programs to educate visitors about the natural and cultural resources of the park
  • Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to protect and conserve park resources
  • Collect fees and manage park facilities and services

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field, such as law enforcement, conservation, or park management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
