The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in our SLED organization.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales plans to maximize revenue and growth in the designated target market(s)
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with prospective enterprise customers through cold calling, premise visits, networking, and lead generation
- Manage customer relationships to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, retain existing revenue, and obtain additional business
- Utilize industry-leading tools and technologies to provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnels of identified and proposed opportunities
- 5+ years of sales experience selling into State, Local, Higher Education customers
- Experience within the Technology/Telecommunications industry
- Proven track record of success in solution selling, hunting, prospecting, and new account development
- Strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills
- Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction
