Job Title: RN Executive Director

Cadre Hospice is seeking a visionary RN Executive Director to lead our hospice program in expanding access to end-of-life care, particularly among underserved populations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance our services and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Strategic Planning:
    • Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation among staff to drive continuous improvement.
    • Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to expand and enhance hospice services in the community.
  • Clinical Operations Management:
    • Oversee all clinical operations, including patient admissions, care planning, and coordination of interdisciplinary care teams.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
    • Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes and performance metrics to drive quality improvement.
  • Staff Management and Development:
    • Recruit, hire, and onboard qualified clinical and administrative staff members.
    • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to staff to foster a culture of professional growth and teamwork.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide opportunities for staff development and training.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage the hospice program budget, including revenue projections and expense monitoring.
    • Implement cost-effective strategies to optimize resource utilization and maximize revenue generation.
  • Community Relations and Outreach:
    • Develop meaningful relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations to promote collaboration and enhance visibility of hospice services.
    • Participate in community events and marketing initiatives to raise awareness about hospice care.
Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing for the state of practice required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred and/or Master's degree in Business, Nursing Leadership, Healthcare Administration, or related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience with management/supervision in hospice home care setting required.
  • Maintains current CPR certification.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in hospice and/or palliative care setting preferred.
