Job Overview

A dynamic leadership opportunity has arisen for a seasoned professional to spearhead the Surgery Administration department at our esteemed healthcare organization.

This senior-level position oversees the strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance of the department, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Management
    • Develop and execute departmental goals, objectives, and strategies in alignment with organizational initiatives.
    • Cultivate a high-performing team through effective leadership, coaching, and talent development.
  • Quality Improvement & Education
    • Design and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with clinical staff to provide education, training, and support to ensure optimal skill levels.
  • Strategic Planning & Compliance
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Operational Oversight
    • Manage department budgets, resources, and operations to achieve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Approve personnel actions, performance evaluations, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program (or equivalent experience).
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in Michigan.
  • Three years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Two years of clinical experience.

Estimated annual salary: $120,000 - $150,000.
