Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by guiding customers through the sales process, from sale to test drives and arranging financing applications
  • Conduct vehicle condition assessments and communicate information to Buyers for customer appraisals
  • Check in and receive vehicles, complete daily scanning and reconciliation of vehicle inventory, and perform cosmetic inspections to ensure vehicles meet CarMax Quality Standards
  • Perform various administrative duties, including printing daily reports, maintaining transaction paperwork, and contacting finance companies regarding customer contracts
  • Create service appointments and review repair order invoices for retail service work performed, ensuring accuracy of documentation for billing

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and display confidence in self, the product, and CarMax
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, balance customer needs with business requirements, and seek win-win solutions to customer issues
  • Perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced working environment, read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records, and lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
