Job Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Summary:

Medi-Weightloss is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in Orange, CT. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide top-tier medical care to our patients while enjoying a great work-life balance.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and psychosocial history reviews.
  • Perform physical examinations and order laboratory studies as needed.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including preventive medicine counseling and product education.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians to ensure accurate medication management and documentation.
  • Review patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to patients to discuss progress and address concerns.

General Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to clinical staff, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Serve as the company liaison for medical and clinical affairs, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in ongoing training initiatives and serve as the in-house trainer for medical staff.
  • Seek opportunities to improve franchise clinical operations' efficiency, effectiveness, and capacity.
  • Develop strategic recommendations to support patient experience improvement initiatives.
  • Program Development – Participate in the launch of test pilots for new programs, services, and products.
