About the Role

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Warehouse Operations Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our distribution center, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and supervise warehouse associates in their duties and responsibilities, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that stock is properly stored and managed.
  • Oversee the receiving, stocking, and shipping of merchandise, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage and coordinate the workflow of the warehouse, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity, ensuring that the warehouse is running at optimal levels.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to management.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two (2) plus years of work experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Ability to read and understand English language to compare and read product descriptions, names, and shelf labels.
  • Basic mathematical skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented.
  • Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions.
  • Basic computer knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
  • Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have proficiency to operate reach truck, picker machines, pallet jack, forklift, etc.
  • Maintains appropriate attendance and production standards.
