Job Description

**Job Summary**
As a Fluid Power Technician at Sterling Engineering, you will be responsible for assembling equipment according to approved designs and customer specifications. You will also maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting a safe and efficient environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
Install piping and hoses
Interpret blueprints and symbols
Assist in the implementation and adherence to ISO/Quality Standards
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team efforts

**Requirements**
High School diploma or equivalent
3-5 years fluid power experience
Intermediate knowledge of schematic interpretation, pipe threading, fitting identification, and symbols
Proven mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working on/under machines
Willingness to obtain licenses and training in Hi-Lo (Forklift), Aerial Platform, Overhead Crane, and Lock Out Tag Out procedures
Proficient computer skills and the ability to provide personal hand tools and a suitable toolbox

**Additional Details**
Travel may be required, including domestic and international travel, depending on the project (approximately 20% of the time). Ability to accept direction, complete tasks as assigned, and work effectively as part of a team or individually.
