About the Role
- Provide individualized and skilled physical therapy services for individuals with physical challenges and needs.
- Treat and care for patients who are babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, and young adults dealing with conditions related to genetic, developmental, neurological, and orthopedic disorders.
- Use your expertise in movement and apply clinical reasoning through the process of examination, evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention.
- Promote health and wellness as you implement a wide variety of support for children from infancy through adolescence in collaboration with their families and other medical, educational, developmental, and rehabilitation specialists.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
Requirements
- Physical Therapist License/Certification
- A valid driver's license and hold appropriate automobile insurance with limits that allow driving a personal vehicle for work (25/50k liability coverage)
- Must clear a current background check through the FBI and DOJ
- A current TB Test (within the last 6 months)
Work Environment
- Varied work environments, including classrooms, clinics, and homes
- Moderate to loud noise levels and physical demands may vary
- Working with individuals exhibiting diverse behaviors and needs
