Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive clinical social work services to patients, including assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling to patients and their families.
- Advocate for patients to ensure their access to needed resources and services.
- Document all patient interactions and interventions in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to maintain and enhance your clinical social work knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols related to clinical social work services.
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.
- Current and valid LICSW licensure.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a clinical social worker, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and other computer applications related to clinical social work practice.
- Commitment to adhering to the NASW Code of Ethics and other professional standards.
