Key Position Details:
This is a float position that will support our Woodbury, Cottage Grove, Eagan, Apple Valley and Burnsville locations. Role includes mileage reimbursement and additional hourly rate for floating. The position is full-time, with 40 hours per week and 1.0 FTE. The schedule is day/evenings, with 8 hour shifts and no weekends. The position is benefit eligible.
Job Description:
As a Physical Therapist, you will provide quality care that is appropriate, efficient, effective patient care meeting the patient's requirements for physical therapy. Your responsibilities will include providing therapy to patients, assessing each patient, and gathering data to generate an accurate therapy diagnosis. You will also involve patients and families in establishing goals of treatment, design and implement therapeutic interventions, and coordinate, communicate, document and bill per program, regulatory and professional standards. Additionally, you will accommodate selection of tests and measures and therapeutic interventions to the age of the patient or client, make referrals to other practitioners as appropriate, and select and delegate appropriate tasks of the plan of care per professional guidelines. You will also supervise the therapeutic program and maintain oversight of the plan of care, promote rehab services by ensuring patient and physician satisfaction, and participate in performance improvement and process improvement activities for the department. You will also support and promote new services as requested, provide ongoing input to enhance the services provided by the department, develop and promote new and current programs as requested, and assist co-workers in managing the teams' productivity/performance targets. You will also manage your daily patient schedule, assist in maintaining an efficient clinic flow, including assisting with scheduling, cleaning rooms and laundry, and perform other duties as assigned.
