Job Title: Lead Educator

Reggio's Treehouse is an authentic Reggio Emilia inspired preschool that educates and enriches the minds and lives of our young learners. We embrace the Reggio Emilia philosophy that teaches children to become self-directed learners and whose guiding principles encourage self-expression and critical thinking.

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lead Educator to join our team. As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lessons in line with the Reggio philosophy that cater to individual needs of the students. You will also be responsible for monitoring, recording, and assessing student progress and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons that promote student learning and development
  • Monitor and record student progress and development
  • Assess student learning and development
  • Collaborate with other teachers to share new ideas and approaches
  • Liaise with the Director to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related fields
  • At least 2 years work experience in a licensed child care facility, kindergarten or early childhood program
  • Experience in a Reggio Emilia inspired school is highly desirable
  • Strong organization skills and ability to multitask
  • Highly professional and dependable
