POSITION: Housing Support Specialist
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Salary Range: $28.28 per hour
Pay Frequency: 24 Pay Periods Per Year
Employment Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt, Driving Required
Become a part of our Supportive Housing Services (SHS) team, where your work will have a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM:
Our Supportive Housing Services (SHS) deliver Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) within a Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) model, focusing on individuals facing homelessness and chronic health challenges. We provide extensive support aimed at improving long-term housing stability, enhancing quality of life, and facilitating community integration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver strengths-based case management and service coordination to clients
- Work collaboratively with clients to set and achieve personalized goals
- Provide crisis intervention services and perform risk assessments
- Advocate for clients to access essential resources, including housing and healthcare
QUALIFICATIONS WE VALUE:
- Capability to offer in-home and community-based services consistently
- High level of empathy and understanding for individuals with complex needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Effective prioritization and problem-solving abilities
- Positive and proactive work attitude
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Two years of experience in healthcare, case management, or a related field
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- All levels of education and experience are encouraged to apply
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Willingness to work evenings or weekends as necessary
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification or readiness to obtain
- Full COVID-19 vaccination
