Patient Collections Specialist

Bethany Medical is seeking a highly skilled Patient Collections Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for timely and accurate monitoring, processing, and posting of patient payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls regarding patient statement/balances.
- Place outgoing phone calls to collect patient balances.
- Process and apply payments to patient accounts.
- Process accounts for outside collections.
- Reconcile deposits from each office location daily.
- Balance credit cards based on online banking system.
- Review and resolve patient billing issues.
- Provide itemized bills for patients, attorneys, etc.
