Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations at a defined location, responsible for all functions and financial metrics in a group of branches in a specific business segment or small geography.
- Develop a deep understanding of Cummins business in the region, globally, and across all business units.
- Develop and manage the business to the Annual Operating Plan with input from Business Development and Branch Managers.
- Ensure business growth by managing annual marketing and sales plan, developing and maintaining business relationships with customers, and developing new business partners and alliances.
- Manage customer satisfaction for the Branches as measured by Net Promoter Score and Lens of the Customer programs.
- Manage warranty submission and rejection, develop an understanding of repetitive warranty issues, and provide feedback to the organization to ensure product and service improvement.
- Manage, develop, and motivate employees, complete, agree to, and monitor work plans and Individual Development Plans for Branch Managers.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner.
- Background within supply chains relating to industrial, construction, automation, technical, sales, or other relevant areas.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and great leadership skills.
- Actively participate in Safety Related Activities like Safety Committee Meetings, Facility Inspections, etc.
- Maintain operations performance measurements with initiative implementation and tracking.
- Ability to manage branch purchasing by finding a vendor, ordering, receiving, and distributing products to the Departments in need.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience required, including managerial and budgetary experience.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related subject required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
