Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced construction safety and compliance professional to lead our company's safety program and HR department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OSHA regulations and experience in implementing and managing safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a company-wide safety program that meets local and federal construction safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to educate employees on company policies and promote a safety-first approach on jobsites.
  • Create and maintain company safety and HR records per government guidelines.
  • Design and manage hiring procedures and new hire processing/onboarding.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary safety and general compliance paperwork.
  • Assist in purchasing and controlling the costs of safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
  • Work with our insurance agents to maintain proper insurance coverages.
  • Oversee security and technology systems at company facility to ensure safe and secure operations.
  • Design, train and oversee job-specific hazard plans as needed.
  • Investigate, report and provide guidance for any safety incidents or accidents.

Requirements

  • OSHA 30 certification
  • At least 3 years of experience directing and managing a corporate safety program.
  • HR compliance knowledge, or the willingness and ability to learn about HR compliance components.
  • Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Technology and computer skills including all Microsoft office applications.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills required.
