The Nurse Residency Program at Prisma Health is designed to provide new graduate nurses with a solid foundation to launch their nursing career. As a Nurse Residency Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for attending all quality and core curriculum classes, actively participating in professional development workshops and peer support groups, and successfully completing all clinical competencies and validation requirements of the program.
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Education Team, you will refine your nursing knowledge and skills, and work under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse to manage clinical situations and provide care to patients. You will also be responsible for adhering to policy and procedure requirements of the organization, including licensure renewal, assigned training, employee health screenings, time and attendance policy, dress code policy, patient confidentiality, infection control, and medication administration.
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in Nursing and be licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
