Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Coordinator to join our team at Texas Oncology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical staff, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
- Manage patient schedules, appointments, and referrals, ensuring seamless coordination with our medical staff.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and other tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist with scheduling outside testing and referrals, ensuring timely completion and follow-up.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including typing memos and forms.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-3 years of medical business office experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
