Business Office Manager

Retirement Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Office Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all accounting and business office activities, ensuring seamless financial operations and exceptional resident experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage monthly resident billing and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Process accounts payable, long-term care insurance filing, and payment processing for the community.
  • Reconcile spend downs and accruals, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and post weekly meal reconciliation reports and charges.
  • Ensure resident files contain required information and are kept confidential.
  • Submit accounts receivable reports to the home office monthly.
  • Manage AP and AR for the community, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Generate resident statements and maintain accurate accounts.
  • Operate the department within budget, ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Address resident concerns regarding bills and accounts.
Requirements:
  • Strong AP/AR experience required.
  • 1-2 years experience in bookkeeping or office manager/coordinator position.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
