KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Front Desk Manager is responsible for overseeing the front office team, which includes hiring, training, and scheduling staff. Key duties include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Fostering a friendly and courteous environment for both guests and team members.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards to promote efficient hotel operations.
- Addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Coaching and mentoring front office staff to uphold hotel standards.
- Collaborating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to enhance service delivery.
- Monitoring room occupancy and revenue management to optimize hotel performance.
- Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures in all areas of front office operations.
- Managing labor costs through effective scheduling and productivity oversight.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- A minimum of four years of experience in front desk operations, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing over 15 pounds.
- Good hearing and vision abilities to interact effectively with guests and staff.
