KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Front Desk Manager is responsible for overseeing the front office team, which includes hiring, training, and scheduling staff. Key duties include:
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Fostering a friendly and courteous environment for both guests and team members.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards to promote efficient hotel operations.
  • Addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Coaching and mentoring front office staff to uphold hotel standards.
  • Collaborating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to enhance service delivery.
  • Monitoring room occupancy and revenue management to optimize hotel performance.
  • Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures in all areas of front office operations.
  • Managing labor costs through effective scheduling and productivity oversight.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in front desk operations, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing over 15 pounds.
  • Good hearing and vision abilities to interact effectively with guests and staff.
