Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator who will be responsible for managing the procurement process in alignment with company policies. This role involves effective communication with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure smooth operations. The selected candidate will oversee the prompt and precise approval of all shipping documents, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is complete and accurate, in accordance with established protocols. Additionally, this position will serve as the key liaison for inventory management between the finance team and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in procurement or inventory management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Oversee purchase orders, logistics, and inventory management, including consumables.
  • Manage the supply chain functions related to purchasing fulfillment and inventory oversight.
  • Coordinate material requirements and maintain sufficient inventory levels to support the warehouse and project managers.
  • Execute all approved purchasing methods for various products and services, including purchase orders and invoice payments.
  • Maintain accurate material costing within the Inventory Module of the ERP system.
  • Review and approve system material receipts, ensuring that all documentation matches item descriptions, quantities, and purchase orders.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, with a preference for Great Plains.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Communicate vendor programs, contracts, and issues to the Purchasing Manager.
  • Assist in developing a tracking system for orders and receipts.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting is required.
