Position Overview:

The Chief Technology Officer will oversee the technology department, ensuring that it delivers efficient and effective technical support services throughout the organization. This role requires a collaborative approach to enhance our network of elite golf and country clubs. The CTO will spearhead the technology team with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Executive, Operations, and Field teams to assess technological needs and identify how IT can support business and financial objectives.
  • Develop and implement both short-term and long-term technology roadmaps aligned with the company’s strategic growth goals.
  • Evaluate the organization’s systems and reporting requirements, implementing necessary updates and enhancements.
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with key external IT vendors.
  • Analyze technology infrastructure and system performance to assess costs, productivity, and upgrade needs.
  • Ensure the integrity and security of information and communication systems, adhering to regulatory and industry standards.
  • Lead training initiatives to enhance staff understanding of systems capabilities and compliance with operational guidelines.
  • Establish standards for efficiency and effectiveness, recommending improvements to technology infrastructure.
  • Manage technology contracts and vendor negotiations.
  • Oversee system upgrade projects involving third-party vendors.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. Candidates should possess at least eight years of experience managing a technology department, preferably within a growing, multi-site hospitality or retail environment.
