Position Summary:

We are in search of a qualified individual with robust accounting expertise to oversee our Accounts Payable and Payroll functions, while also delivering accurate reporting for our financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and execute accounts payable processes, including the preparation of all necessary year-end 1099 forms for multiple entities.
- Analyze and monitor daily cash flow and cash accounts for two distinct entities.
- Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll in collaboration with a third-party payroll service.
- Reconcile and evaluate balance sheet accounts for month-end and year-end financial reporting.
- Oversee and process company credit card transactions.
- Ensure accurate payment or accrual of sales use tax and file annual reports accordingly.
- Handle fixed asset transactions and depreciation, along with preparing and filing personal property tax returns.
- Generate monthly and quarterly accounting reports as required, including financial analysis and spreadsheet development.
- Prepare journal entries and assist in budget preparation and maintenance.
- Administer security systems and support other administrative functions as needed.
- Undertake additional responsibilities, including royalty calculations and tracking customer support expenses.

Qualifications:

- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of accounting and payroll experience is essential, with a preference for candidates with manufacturing experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Candidates should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical abilities.
- Effective problem-solving and time management skills are crucial.
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
