Our team is responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships with leading streaming devices, mobile platforms, and connected TVs to bring NBCU's D2C apps, including Peacock, to a global audience.

Job Summary:

The Manager, Global Platform Partnerships will support the Director and Vice President in managing global platform partnerships for NBCU's DTC group. This highly cross-functional role requires collaboration with teams across Direct-to-Consumer and NBCU, including Device Marketing, Product, Technology, Legal, Finance, Decision Sciences, Ad Sales, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and implement platform partner strategies to grow the suite of D2C platforms, enhance FAST channel performance, and maintain a competitive position.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support partnership initiatives by working with various teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Develop, track, and communicate analyses of partnership performance, ensuring ongoing alignment with deal commitments.
  • Executive Presentations: Support the creation and delivery of executive-level presentations to stakeholders.
  • Contract Evaluation and Negotiation: Evaluate contract proposals to inform negotiating strategy with distribution platforms and third-party partners.
  • Industry Intelligence and Research: Build and maintain intelligence on companies in the digital and technology landscape through networking, 3rd party research, trade press, and earnings/financial reporting.
  • Day-to-Day Partnership Management: Manage product integrations, marketing strategy, and content operations for partnerships.

Qualifications and Characteristics:

  • Experience: At least five years of experience in business development, partnerships, or digital media distribution connected to television/film.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective partner management.
  • Project Execution and Prioritization: Ability to balance priorities of several teams to execute projects in a timely manner.
  • Executive Presence: Strong executive presence to support executive-level presentations.
  • Data Analysis: Experience with data analysis and leveraging insights to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Research and Industry Knowledge: Experience gathering and analyzing research across internal and external industry sources, with the ability to clearly articulate key findings.
  • Industry Trends and Emerging Technologies: Knowledgeable about current and emerging trends in streaming media and the evolution of technology distribution platforms.

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: This position requires a hybrid work arrangement, contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
