About the Role

As a Customer Specialist at CarMax, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will act as a guide and provide support to customers throughout their journey, ensuring a seamless and transparent process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service by guiding customers through every step of the buying and selling process.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle condition assessments to ensure accurate appraisals.
  • Check in and receive vehicles, complete daily scanning and reconciliation of inventory, and perform cosmetic inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform various administrative duties, including printing daily reports, maintaining transaction paperwork, and contacting finance companies.
  • Create service appointments and review repair order invoices to ensure accuracy and documentation.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and confidence in self, product, and CarMax.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Balance customer needs with business requirements when making decisions.
  • Seek to fully understand and meet customer needs, creating win-win solutions to issues.
  • Perform multiple duties in a fast-paced working environment, reading, interpreting, and transcribing data to maintain accurate records.
