About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Systems Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining our heating and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, maintain, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on all heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
  • Prepare the preventive maintenance schedule and produce monthly reports.
  • Assist in operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, locksmith, and alarm systems.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and repair mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures as scheduled or needed.
  • Monitor work performed by outside contractors to ensure requirements are met and results are documented properly.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school education or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • At least two years of maintenance experience.
  • A journeyman license is preferred.
