Job Overview

Auburn-Washburn USD 437 is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of our students and staff by maintaining and repairing our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and replace defective components, pumps, fans, or capacitors
  • Replace or repair leaking lines
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures
  • Collaborate with other facilities staff to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in HVAC repair and maintenance
  • Knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate: $21.42/hour
  • 8 hours/day, 12 months/year
  • District benefits available to employees hired to work 5.75+ hours/day, 5 days/week
