Environmental Health Specialist

Job Summary:
As an Environmental Health Specialist at Technimark, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and implement EPA and OSHA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate internal and external safety, environmental, and ISO audits to monitor current performance, ensure compliance, and identify hazards/opportunities for improvements.
- Support the development of safety and environmental procedures and documentation.
- Facilitate safety assessments on new and transferred equipment before placing into service.
- Develop and maintain LOTO procedures and ensure they are posted and available on Kiosks.
- Facilitate or assist accident investigations with Managers, Supervisors, and Staffing Agencies.
- Maintain Safety Team and First Responder rosters and notify managers of any openings/needs.
- Schedule and conduct training for First Responders in AED, CPR, BBP, and First aid.
- Conduct Technimark Safety Observations, as required.
- Schedule employee activities such as safety meetings, safety events, and cleanup days.
- Conduct or assist in the investigation, coordination, cleanup, and documentation of environmental spills.
- Schedule, conduct, or assist, and document all required safety, environmental, ISO inspections and testing.
- Maintain HAZCOM, SDS, environmental, ISO, and safety information and records for all facilities.
- Monitor and maintain data for all waste products to ensure current and future regulatory and ISO requirements.
- Monitor waste disposal products and develop actions to investigate possible methods of recycling to reduce waste generated.
- Schedule and facilitate all waste pickups.
