Hearing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Hearing Specialist to join our team at HearingLife. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities- Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
- Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices, including troubleshooting, conducting repairs, and cleaning.
- Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
- Local community outreach, including health fairs and developing physician relationships, to represent HearingLife as an advocate for making a life-changing difference.
- Counsel patients on the purchase of their hearing aids, devices, and accessories, maintaining a current understanding of third-party payors and various payment methods in accordance with federal and state laws.
- Understand and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly clinical finance targets, working closely with your PCC and Manager to achieve clinics financial KPIs.
- Support Telehealth initiatives (Remote Care) to expand patient care and product portfolio, including conducting hearing tests, coaching, and educating patients on hearing aid devices.
- Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements.
- Ability to operate audiometric equipment and to interpret the results.
- Ability to communicate test results and interpret and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by patients.
- Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License in accordance with state requirements.
- 2+ years Hearing Aid sales experience or 2 years equivalent in industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD.
