We are currently seeking a skilled IT System Administrator to manage our IT infrastructure, primarily supporting our clinics in the region. This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for both onsite presence and remote work capabilities, with occasional travel required.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Acquiring and configuring new hardware, including desktops and laptops, with a focus on Windows systems.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of existing computing devices and printers.
  • Installing and troubleshooting a variety of software applications, including productivity tools and specialized veterinary management software.
  • Ensuring the security of endpoints through appropriate software solutions.
  • Enhancing and troubleshooting our networking infrastructure, utilizing Ubiquiti technology.
  • Setting up and maintaining networking equipment such as routers, switches, and access points.
  • Responding to and resolving support requests through our ticketing system, email, or phone.
  • Providing remote and onsite support for clinic staff as needed.
  • Installing network cabling for equipment when necessary.
  • Collaborating with vendors to resolve software issues and implement upgrades.
  • Establishing backup solutions for critical systems.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in managing IT systems within mid to large-scale environments.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • A passion for technology and a commitment to assisting others.
  • Proficiency in maintaining Windows client and server environments.
  • Experience with system deployment and patch management using RMM tools.
  • Knowledge of LAN equipment and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 administration.
  • The capability to work in a hybrid model, balancing remote work with onsite responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Relevant certifications such as A+, Network+, or MCSA are highly valued.
