Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to join our dynamic care team at Athena Health Care Systems. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall administration, clinical planning, development, marketing, and operations of our rehabilitation program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the quality and appropriateness of patient care meets or exceeds company and industry standards.
  • Direct and assess the scheduling of patients/residents for therapy services, considering available treatment hours, staff resources, and overall plan of care.
  • Participate in team meetings to formulate treatment plans, discuss progress, and discharge planning.
  • Review therapist documentation practices for clarity, conciseness, and consistency with patient outcome goals and payor expectations.
  • Maintain a clinical caseload as needed.
  • Generate and analyze financial, operational, and productivity reports as required.
  • Ensure that weekly and monthly statistics, patient outcome data, and billing logs are accurate, complete, and reported in a timely manner.
  • Supervise program staff in daily program operations and clinical activities, monitoring staff efficiencies and providing feedback.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Speech/Language Pathology.
  • Current licensure by the Board of Allied Health Professions required.
  • Two to four years of clinical experience required, with one to two years of supervisory experience with multi-disciplines preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and interact with all levels of staff and customers.
