Role Summary and Qualifications
As a Radiology Special Procedures Specialist, you will be responsible for performing all duties associated with this role. You will ensure the efficient utilization of resources while maintaining high-quality imaging procedures. Adherence to radiation safety protocols and universal precautions is mandatory at all times. You will also manage the flow of patients within the section efficiently and timely.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize supportive protective devices (such as radiation shielding) and immobilization equipment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Clearly communicate the nature of procedures to patients and address any questions they may have.
- Demonstrate practical application of age-related factors in patient care.
- Ensure patient rights and privacy are consistently upheld.

Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an AMA approved program.
- Experience: Registered with ARRT. BLS certification through American Red Cross (AHA and military certifications accepted) is required upon hire. Proven ability to perform Special Procedures following established standards and protocols.
