Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations related to waste collection, recycling, and disposal within our parks.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize waste production, enhance recycling efforts, and promote composting.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and servicing of waste management facilities, including dumpsters and recycling stations.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste management.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on waste management activities and environmental impacts for regulatory bodies.
- Manage procurement processes for waste management supplies and services, including contracts with external vendors.
- Supervise and mentor a diverse team of waste management staff, focusing on training and performance evaluation.
- Conduct outreach programs to educate the public on sustainable waste disposal practices.
