Imaging Department Director

The Imaging Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Imaging Department, ensuring timely and high-quality services. This role involves managing staff, planning and organizing departmental activities, and maintaining compliance with regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage assigned staff to provide quality imaging services.
- Plan, organize, and direct daily operations of the Imaging Department.
- Maintain compliance with regulations, standards, and policies.
- Collaborate with other department managers to analyze and implement changes in operational procedures.
- Coordinate the review of qualified applicants, interview, and recommend best-qualified candidates for appointment.
- Establish work performance standards for various positions in the Imaging section.
- Perform timely performance appraisals and competency assessments.
- Minimum two years of progressively responsible administrative work experience in Diagnostic Imaging Services, Special Procedures Services, and/or Cardiovascular Services in a clinical or hospital environment.
- Minimum one year of supervisory experience, including planning, organizing, and directing the work of others.
- Bachelor's degree from an approved program recognized by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or four years of experience in a directly related area.
- Licensure, certification, or registration as a Nuclear Medical Technologist, Radiographer, or other relevant certifications.
