Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities, while also having the flexibility to choose their own shifts and locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as an LPN in post-acute settings, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
- Conduct resident intakes and document medical histories and health concerns
- Help administer medications and track usage and effects
- Cultivate a safe and comfortable environment for residents
- Track medical records and charts
- Assist with set up of IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures
- Maintain proper inventory of medical supplies
- Be accountable for adhering to resident care plans
- Participate in the orientation and training of new colleagues
Requirements
- Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- 1+ year of experience in long-term care or gerontology
