About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cardiac Catheterization Specialist to join our team as a Registered Nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab PRN. This PRN position requires:

  • A minimum of 6 12-hour shifts per pay period (every two weeks) or 9 8-hour shifts per pay period.
  • Holiday and weekend coverage: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule, 3 holidays per calendar year.
  • An on-call requirement: 2 weeks per month and 1 holiday per year (if applicable).

This role is responsible for assisting the Cardiologist in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.

The ideal candidate will assess, manage, and provide patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab, circulate, monitor, and record hemodynamic values, abstract and enter data according to agency requirements, complete physician orders, administer prescribed medications, and provide patient education and transport patients in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current Indiana State Board of Nursing or compact state RN license.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • One year of Cath Lab experience preferred.
  • Computer skills and advanced experience with MS Word and Excel.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $95,000 - $110,000 based on experience and qualifications.
