We are seeking a Registered Nurse RN Neonatal Intensive Care NICU to join our healthcare family at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. As a valued member of our team, you will provide direct nursing care for newborns and infants in our Level-II trauma center.

As a Registered Nurse RN Neonatal Intensive Care NICU, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct nursing care for newborns and infants in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Maintaining patient individualized standards of care and performing clinical nursing duties for neonates and infants.
  • Caring for patients requiring newborn care, feeding, IV, medications, respiratory care, stabilizing and preparing for transport.
  • Performing routine newborn blood draws for laboratory tests and assisting physician at Cesarean Section and vaginal deliveries.
  • Strong knowledge base of medications used in the newborn period, administering medications following policy and procedure demonstrating the 5 rights and knowledge of pharmacokinetics.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure by the Indiana State Board of Nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse or active Compact State RN license.
  • BSN degree preferred, BLS certification required, NRP certification within six months of hire, and STABLE certification preferred.
