Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Controller

Crescent City Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Controller to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packages, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow, with variance analysis on key performance indicators.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business decisions.
  • Coordinate capital expenditure requests and track approved projects.
  • Serve as the lead contact for internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Advise staff on accounting issues and establish common policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Select, develop, and manage assigned staff, holding them accountable for performance and behavior.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting for a manufacturing company, with aerospace industry experience advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supervising direct reports.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP application to a manufacturing company environment.
  • Full cycle budgeting, tax compliance, and audit experience required.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • ERP experience required, with Infor Visual experience preferred.
Preferred Skills:
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Self-management skills, including efficiency, sense of urgency, and ability to adapt and respond to unexpected circumstances.
