We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Structural Engineer to join our team at COWI. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with experts to deliver high-quality projects in North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates for structural engineering projects.
  • Solve complex engineering problems and tasks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Prepare technical specifications, engineering reports, and other documents to support project execution.
  • Liaise with other professionals and departments to gather information and collaborate on project deliverables.
  • Conduct site inspections and perform other responsibilities as required to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Hold a master's degree in Structural Engineering or higher and be registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or willing to obtain EIT and subsequently a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Actively participate in professional associations and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail, good judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Possess quality planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work in time-sensitive settings on multiple deadlines.
  • Familiarity with various structural analysis software programs and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
