The COMET contract encompasses comprehensive management and execution of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at a key space center. These responsibilities will support various space programs, including the International Space Station and the Space Launch System.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Overseeing integrated schedules for facility projects.
· Conducting resource tracking and analysis, including potential critical path identification.
· Collaborating with flow management, project managers, engineering teams, and other planners to update daily schedules and address changes and challenges.
· Participating in daily meetings and demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities related to operational support.
· Identifying potential scheduling delays and facilitating corrective actions while preparing progress reports.
· Supporting schedule development, integration, analysis, and communication with integrated planners regarding changes and issues.
· Creating bar charts and mini schedules using Primavera P6.
· Managing work control as required.
· Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in engineering, along with three (3) years of relevant experience. Candidates without a degree must have seven (7) years of relevant experience.
Essential Job Requirements
· Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project and Microsoft Suite is required.
· Familiarity with Maximo and Milestone Professional may be beneficial.
· Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident status is required if offered a position.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
· The position is located in a facility that may present hazards; the ability to evacuate quickly in emergencies is essential.
· Work may be required both indoors and outdoors across the testing complex.
· Daily travel to various areas on-site may be necessary.
· All tasks must be performed safely, adhering to safety standards.
Equipment and Tools
· Computers and printers for generating reports and schedules.
· Various equipment utilized in testing procedures.
Attendance Expectations
· Full-time work hours are expected.
· Occasional overtime, including weekend work, may be required based on task demands.
· Dependability and punctuality are crucial.
