Key Responsibilities
  • Support requirements capture, maintenance, and management at varying levels of detail.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define and manage requirements at the system, product, subsystem, and interface level.
  • Apply technical engineering to design products and systems.
  • Perform technical analysis using methods such as functional analysis, timeline analysis, and trade studies.
  • Support the development of product concepts, user needs, and use cases, as well as product requirements.
  • Ensure requirements of quality and decompositions flow down.
  • Conduct technical design and reviews.
  • Lead, plan, schedule, conduct, and monitor testing activities, including verification test design, development, execution, and documentation.
  • Support testing and problem reporting, and determine steps to reproduce, root cause, and solutions options.
  • Participate in early concept exploration and feasibility evaluations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional technical engineering experience.
  • Or minimum 2 years of professional technical engineering experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience generating technical documentation (e.g., specifications, engineering reports, test plans and procedures, validation plans, or validation reports).
  • Experience in product development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (MS or higher) in Engineering or Scientific discipline.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Requirements Management Software like DOORS or Requisite Pro.
  • Experience in requirements development, analysis, allocation, review, and tracing.
  • Experience in functional analysis, interface definition.
  • Experience with RF communications systems.
  • Experience with Web-based systems.
  • A proven multitasker with the ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing a product in a regulated industry such as medical device, defense, or automotive.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide leadership and execution as needed for maintenance of requirements management systems, tools, and processes.
