As a Medical Assistant at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of providing high-quality, affordable healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and record patient data, including vital signs and medical history.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, working collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health and wellness.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, upholding Kaiser Permanente's commitment to equity and diversity.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited medical assistant program preferred.
- Interim Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) or Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
