Med Tech Job Description

We are seeking Med Techs (Medical Technicians) who are Certified Nursing Assistants, Registered Nursing Assistants, or Certified Home Care Aides to join our team in our Assisting Living and Memory Care campus located in Bremerton.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and pass medications, including insulin as prescribed to residents
  • Observe and notify Nurse of any negative drug effects or interactions
  • Accept responsibility for accurate medication counts and for security of the medication cart
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility, as needed
  • Engage with residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care and medication assistance
  • Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, medication side effects, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences and report promptly to Director of Nursing
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant License, Nursing Assistant Registration, or Certified Home Care Aide Certification

We offer a competitive starting wage of $19.75/hr. up to $22.40 depending on related experience as determined by Supervisor and HR. Additionally, NOC shift Med Techs will receive an extra $2.50/hr. shift differential.
