We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our Quality Engineering Team in Mineral Point, WI. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Verify the final quality of products on the production line.
- Compare the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment, and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
- Separate products that do not meet technical specifications, using basic and/or complex measurement techniques and equipment.
- Document products that do not meet technical specifications using specified systems.
- Train others in the use of measurement equipment, segregation of non-conforming products, and documentation.
- Follow the norms and standards of quality defined by the Company.
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Requires some work experience and intermediate-level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
- Component and assembled part layout following prints.
- Line Romer for quality concerns.
- Support Calibration system (inspection, test equipment, functional gages).
- Assist with the development of JQAs (Job Quality Analysis Sheets).
- Document & record data collected on inspection forms legibly.
- Keep work area safe and clean (5S Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
- Promote quality workmanship that meets and/or exceeds customer expectations.
