Instrumentation and Controls Project Engineer

As an Instrumentation and Controls Project Engineer in our Madison office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.
Key Responsibilities- Consult on control systems and perform hands-on integration
- Assist with equipment procurement and attend design meetings
- Perform field surveys and review documentation of existing systems
- Develop innovative and unique control solutions to align with project, client, and project partner needs
- BSEE/ME/ChemE or equivalent experience
- Strong commitment to service excellence
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent perceptual, conceptual, and interpretive skills
- Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Effective working in team environments as well as individually
- 4+ years of experience specializing in Building, Process, and/or Industrial control design roles
- Hands-on PLC programming and user interface development
- Common process and industrial mechanical systems and related control instrumentation and equipment
- Experience with industrial control networks and communication protocols
- Experience with CAD or BIM drafting software
