Position Summary

We are in search of a Program Manager for Engineering Technical Support who will be instrumental in orchestrating and overseeing projects associated with an upcoming government contract. This role necessitates a leader with a robust understanding of military command frameworks, missions, and organizational hierarchies. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive grasp of high-level operations within the Department of Defense (DoD), including but not limited to OSD, Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, and various Service Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction to Team Leads and members, fostering a culture of commitment to client service, quality, integrity, respect, and accountability.
  • Monitor and report on project and program progress to both the Government Client and the Task Manager.
  • Formulate evaluation techniques to identify program strengths and areas needing enhancement.
  • Ensure timely and precise reporting of program status throughout its lifecycle.
  • Prepare contractual deliverables while staying informed of contractual stipulations and assisting in modifications as necessary.
  • Serve as the primary contact for project areas including control, legal, procurement, and compliance.
  • Manage costs through research planning, estimating, budgeting, and control activities.
  • Organize programs and activities aligned with the organization's mission and objectives.
  • Develop new initiatives in collaboration with the DHA task manager to support the strategic vision of the organization.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the program's duration.
  • Establish and manage long-term goals and objectives.
  • Produce deliverables punctually and without errors.
  • Draft funding proposals to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Lead a diverse team, ensuring goals are met in customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and performance.
  • Implement changes and interventions to achieve project objectives.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure transparency regarding project issues and decisions.
  • Track program progress and provide updates to higher management.
  • Mentor project staff and team members, assisting them in achieving team goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (subject to approval).
  • A minimum of five (5) years in program management or related fields.
  • Experience managing operations and maintenance strategies in medical facilities.
  • Technical expertise in developing multidisciplinary real property improvement projects.
  • General knowledge of high-level operations within the DoD.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with DMLSS-FM Module.
  • Knowledge of National Fire Protection (NFPA) codes.
  • Understanding of healthcare standards and OSHA requirements.
  • Experience with facility condition inspections and corrective action planning.
  • Ability to evaluate staff actions and recommend necessary corrective measures.
